McCoy took him to court, where a jury of six McCoys and six Hatfields found Floyd not guilty (McCoy's cousin, Selkirk McCoy, crossed over and voted to acquit). The main witness in the trial was later found murdered. WebBilly is the great grandson of Devil Anse Hatfield.
