October 1992 - Building work commences. 7 February 1994 - Arrival of the first people to attend the Day Hospice service. 7 April 1994 - The first inpatients arrive. People receive our expert care at home, in care homes, in our Hospice beds, in our Day Hospice and in hospital. We support them and their loved ones at a very difficult time. Hospice care is unique - it is all about the person. WebOur Day Hospice is a friendly and welcoming space which offers a range of activities: singing, movement, creative, complementary therapies. We have 19 beds on our Inpatient Unit and people sometimes stay for a few days for respite care before returning home.
